Apprentiship with B&M Joinery

If you’re keen to get hands-on, learn a skilled trade, and work with a team that values craftsmanship- an apprenticeship at B&M Joinery could be your perfect start! Our apprentices gain real-world experience in a busy, professional workshop, learning from experienced joiners who are committed to passing on their knowledge.

During your apprenticeship, you’ll work on a variety of projects, from crafting bespoke kitchens and cabinetry to installing high-end joinery in stunning homes.

You’ll learn:

✔ The fundamentals of joinery, from measuring and cutting to assembly and installation

✔ How to read and interpret plans, ensuring precision in every project

✔ Hands-on skills using both traditional and modern joinery techniques

✔ Problem-solving and creative thinking to bring designs to life

Gateway Programme – Try Out the Joinery Trade

Through the Cromwell College Gateway Programme, students can get a real taste of what it’s like to work in joinery. This programme provides high school students with hands-on experience in a professional workshop, helping them develop practical skills while exploring potential career pathways.

At B&M Joinery, we love welcoming Gateway students and giving them a first-hand look at what we do. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the trade, try out different tools and techniques, and see if a career in joinery is the right fit. Many of our apprentices have started their careers through the Gateway Programme, and we’re always excited to support the next generation of B&M Joinery superstars.

Joiners If you have at least 3 years of experience and love working with high-quality materials, we’d love to hear from you.

Installers This role is perfect for someone with on-site experience who enjoys bringing joinery projects to life in homes and businesses.

Foreman A leadership role for an experienced joiner who can manage projects, support the team, and maintain our high standards of craftsmanship.
