Curved & Contemporary Queenstown Renovation
A bold kitchen revamp blending texture, curves, and ambient lighting
This jaw-dropping Queenstown renovation took a dated early 2000s kitchen and transformed it into a bold, contemporary centrepiece that’s as functional as it is beautiful. Designed in collaboration with a visionary client, the brief was clear: a modern, family-friendly kitchen with wow-factor. We embraced soft curves and vertical texture with dark reeded cabinetry wrapping around a feature island — creating natural flow and visual impact. A sleek porcelain benchtop adds contrast and elegance, while integrated appliances keep the look clean and seamless. Carefully planned LED strip lighting brightens the space, adds ambience, and highlights the cabinetry’s finer details. From the scullery to the floating shelves, every touchpoint was considered to ensure practicality and polish.
This kitchen now anchors the home with its dramatic presence, moody palette, and thoughtful layout — proof that good design can completely redefine a space.
